MAPR II
Includes a screen painting facility, a prototyping facility, full length data names for COBOL DSECTS, grouplevel occurs for repeated rows, and a COPY facility which allows users to build a new map using an existing map as a base. Map images and data names are saved for future maintenance. All screen development is done interactively under CICS. BMS macros are created. Supports extended attributes and all screen sizes. The prototyping facility allows linking multiple screens together and branching from screen to screen based on which PF key was pressed. Also includes conversion facility for existing BMS maps as well as for SDFTM, BMS/GTTM, and MAPGENTM maps.

Menu II
CICS/Menu II presents a consistent point of entry and prevents users from seeing a blank screen. Menus may be nested and an optional user exit allows pre-display customizing. INPUTMSG data can be passed to applications. Pre-check transaction security using an interface to MacKinney Systems' CICS/SignOn or customer's own user exit. Administration, simplified with group profiles, can be offloaded to group administrators.

Message
Messages can be sent from an application program or a terminal. After reading the message, CLEAR refreshes the full screen and COMMAREA. Messages can be sent to 'ALL' CICS terminals or lists of terminals/ operators/users/netnames. Lists may be shared between CICS/Message and CICS/ Morning News. Messages may be added to CICS/Morning News so users who are not logged on will see the message later. "Reply" option allows (or requires) message recipient to easily send a reply to a message.

Morning News
Displays one or more screens of news to each user when they log on or sign on to CICS. Each news item may be limited to certain users or lists of users by terminal-id, operator-id, user-id, or netname. News may be entered to display on a future date as a reminder. User lists may be shared between CICS/ Morning News and CICS/Message.

On Line File Utility
Allows programmers to instantly view any record of any file defined to CICS. The record is displayed in character and hexadecimal and may be updated or deleted. New records may be added and files may be browsed forward or backward. A file can be scanned for a character string.

Autoinstall
Assign specific terminal ids and printer ids while still getting advantages of IBM's autoinstall facility. Current netname/termid relationships can be saved so you can convert to autoinstall without changing users' termids. Saves CICS memory and reduces CICS administration time.

CEMT from Batch
Allows CICS CEMT SET commands to be submitted from batch job streams. OPEN and CLOSE CICS files, ENABLE or DISABLE transactions, and acquire resources. Continue CICS inquiries while a batch update runs, then change the file back to update mode in CICS when the batch job is done. START or STOP DL1 on line processing, ALLOCATE and UNALLOCATE files. Interfaces with CICS/Message and CA/DatacomDB. Sets return code if command fails.
Optional Add-on File Status Tracking Feature - Stores status (opened/closed) of each file and resets file to that status when CICS is started. Saves all commands issued while CICS was down. Allows CICS to be started while batch jobs which use CICS files are still running.

Fax
CICS/Fax is software for your Windows-based PC to allow you to send faxes and e-mail and upload FTP files. When used with our eSendIT product, you can also implement automatic distribution of mainframe data. Or, you can code your own applications to automatically distribute the data, with the ability to check on the results using the integrated database.

Forward Recovery System
Reapply all updates processed by CICS to rebuild a lost or corrupted VSAM file. Flexible, easy to use. Prints audit trail of updates. Compatible with IAMŽ.

Log View
Display CICS System logs (CSMT, etc.) on-line. Search for character strings. Exclude unwanted entries. Be notified when certain entries are logged. Archive and/or purge old entries.

Qeditor
Easy to use editor which is invoked by your application program to allow users to edit data in a Temp Storage queue. When editing is complete, the queue is passed back to your program.

Qsort
Sorts a Temp Storage Queue by up to 10 fields. Queue records may be up to 999 bytes, and you may sort queues of up to several thousand items without hurting response time for other transactions. You simply build the Temp Storage Queue, link to our Sort program, then read the sorted queue back into your program.

Response Time Monitor
Tracks response time for each transaction. Display transactions based on response time, opid, termid, tranid, time of day. Automatic notification of exceptions. Flexible batch reporting for analysis or charge back. Reports quickly identify slow transactions. Reports can be sorted in any order.

SignOn
A CICS security package providing security for CICS transactions, terminals, and users. It also provides complete signon/signoff functions for CICS users. CICS/SignOn provides seamless integration of CICS signon/ signoff into new releases of CICS in which internal security has been removed by IBM.

Spooler
CICS terminal printer spooling system simplifies programming and improves throughput. Allows either batch or online programs to spool reports into the CICS/Spooler queue. The reports may be sent to a batch system printer, and may be viewed from a CRT before printing.

Spy
View input and output screens in real time on another CICS terminal. View HTML pages sent to another browser served out from CICS. Provides the ability to collect screens based on almost any criteria including the contents of the screen. Collect the screens for replay later. Collect screens generated by a specified transaction executed on any terminal. You control who can Spy and who can be spied upon... flexible security.

Swap
A CICS transaction which allows up to eight CICS transactions to be active at the same terminal. With the touch of an installation defined PF or PA key, the terminal operator can swap from one transaction to the other.

Timeout
Automatically signs off and/or logs off inactive terminals, including those running conversational tasks, after a specified period of inactivity. Length of inactivity specified by Termid or netname. Exclusion by userid, tranid or operid. Also, displays a list of terminals.

Dump Detective for CICS
Dump Detective is a full-function CICS transaction dump analyzer. It is menu driven to provide ease of use and accepts fast path commands from more experienced users. Dump Detective captures your compile and link data into its own source repository. If you also use our CICS online debugger, Track, its source file may be used by Dump Detective, thus avoiding the need to recompile.

Easy Help for CICS
Allow your CICS users to access screen- and field-level help information without modifying your programs. Help text can be authored and updated by users. With our *NEW* import facility, you may be able to save $1,000s by importing your existing help product's text into Easy Help.

eSendIT
eSendIT allows you to automatically distribute your CICS and batch report data via e-mail in PDF, RTF and plain text format. When used with a CICS/Fax PC server, data can also be sent via fax, ftp, or file transfer.
Optional Add-on for eSendIT: eSendIT Web Interface Feature
With the eSendIT Web Interface Feature, you can also use your mainframe as a repository and allow web browser access to your data. You can choose to send the data to your users/customers, or let them access it in PDF format directly from their browser. An easy and affordable method for web access to your host data.

Macro Level Interpreter
Allows running macro-level code in CICS TS environments without any coding changes. Also supports command level applications using the restricted 'EXEC CICS ADDRESS CSA' command in CICS TS. MLI eliminates the costly need for maintaining multiple versions of CICS. Works with Assembler, COBOL or PL/

RMode31
A CICS product that allows CICS programs to automatically reside and execute above the 16 megabyte line. Also allows BMS maps to be loaded above the line. Reduces CPU overhead and provides virtual storage constraint relief.
